Triumph Announces the Daytona Moto2TM 765 Limited Edition
The ultimate edition of Triumph’s multiple Supersport Championship-winning Daytona has arrived in the form of the all-new Daytona Moto2TM 765, which is the closest thing one can get to a genuine Moto2TM factory ride for the road.
The new Moto2TM packs a Moto2TM-derived triple engine that delivers what Triumph sattes is their highest ever power and torque from a production 765. With peak power of 130 PS at 12,250 rpm and peak torque of 80 Nm at 9,750 rpm, this new engine bring race-bred power and performance to the road. A number of the engine’s components and performance upgrades and directly derived from the Moto2TM engine development programme, and is higher-revving than the Street Triple RS engine by 600 rpm, with a red line now up at 13,250 rpm.
The new Daytona Moto2TM 765 also features lightweight full carbon fibre bodywork, consisting of a new single-piece cockpit, full fairing, re-styled rear unit, front mudguard, hugger, upper chain guard, and race-spec lower chain guard. The main frame and swing arm have a clear anodised finish which significantly reduces weight as compared to traditional powder coating.
Billed as “the ultimate Daytona”, this Limited Edition is extremely rare, with only 765 motorcycles for the US and Canada, and 765 for Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world. Each bike is numbered, with its limited edition number laser etched on the Moto2TM branded aluminium top yoke.
