The brand's current model range includes the 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster, Macan, Panamera, Cayenne and the iconic 911. The performance credentials of Porsche's sports cars are derived from the development of intelligent and innovative ideas which produce efficient engines, well-designed aerodynamics and lightweight construction – all culminating in more power, lower fuel consumption and functional design. The brand's approach to manufacturing sports cars was formulated and put into practice as early as 1948, in the form of a 356, the model which all subsequent Porsche vehicles share “DNA” with. In line with the global shift towards reducing the impact of cars on the environment, Porsche was one of the first manufacturers to offer hybrid sports cars in three segments, based on its E-Performance platform. Current hybrid offerings from the Stuttgart-based manufacturer include the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. Continuous commitment to Porsche E-Performance has been set in place with the presentation of the Mission E, an all-electric model which will be available at the end of the decade.
